'Cyrano' remake is music to Disney Funnel

Coco Manley Tyler James Williams will star in Disney Funnel original movie "Let It Shine," a gospel/stylish-hop musical adaptation of "Cyrano P Bergerac" that will premiere round the cabler in summer season 2012.Williams ("Everybody Hates Chris") may have 16-year-old Cyrus -- a precocious but self-questioning rapper -- opposite Coco Manley as Roxanne. Trevor Jackson may have super-confident dancer Kris, who expects to steal Roxanne's heart. Nicole Sullivan, Courtney B. Vance, Dawnn Lewis and Brandon Mychal Cruz co-star inside the film, which will feature 12 original tunes from artists including Rock Mafia, Toby Gad and David Banner.Paul Hoen ("Camping Rock 2: The Best Jam") is pointing the Atlanta-based production, in the script put together by Don D.
